Introducing Bodvoc Ltd
Bodvoc Ltd provides a range of project management and IT-related services as described in the Our Services section of this website. We have been working with the Joomla!® 1.5 content management system for two years now and have built this website to share our experience and some of our developments with the Joomla! community. As with most websites, the content and structure will evolve, particularly in response to your feedback.
About Our Website
Our website currently contains a blog, where we plan to share information about Joomla! website development. To support articles in our blog, we plan to make available free PHP scripts, code samples and some relatively simple Joomla! extensions. These free items will be released as Open Source under the GNU General Public Licence (GNU/GPL), via the Downloads section of our site. We welcome feedback on our blog and the associated downloads , as it will influence future content of the website and material we release.
Joomla! Extensions
We have built over a dozen Joomla! based websites over the last two years, all of these sites use a one or more of our custom extensions. The focus of these extensions has been to provide enhanced business-oriented functionality for Joomla! websites. We are currently preparing a number of these extensions for publication in the Joomla! Extensions Directory. Copies of the extensions and their supporting documentation will be available for download from this website. The first of our commercial extensions - VisitLog - a visitor analysis tool for Joomla! websites is now available.
Joomla! and your website
The Joomla! Framework is a great platform for developing interactive websites. In the Our Services section of this website we have described some of the applications we have developed using the Framework. If you have a business need which is not met by any existing Joomla! extensions, please use our Enquiry Form to contact us - we are always interested in looking at new problems.
